From what I have seen in the news, I would say that illegal immigration has become a fast growing problem in all nations of the world who have poorer countries nearby and I would say the problems are at about the same intensity everywhere. Even Mexico has been having a hard time with their southern border! They don't want the Central Americans who are coming up into Mexico, even though most of them are only passing through on their way to the USA; however, apparently many Guatemalans are opting to stay in Mexico to "do the work Mexicans won't do!" And, even though the Guatemalans are just trying to "provide a better life for their families back home," the Mexicans are not happy about them coming into their country! (Bit of hypocrisy??)

maybe all over but it also depends on what type of population is immigrating. There are cultures that immigrate to the usa but they always do it legally and then the spanish speaking population like my husband who sneaks in the quick way...he pays taxes, has four kids with me but had a DUI ten years ago that messed up his record so even though weve been together for 14 years and married 7 he is still not legal...we are trying! He's not leavinghis children willingly though I can telly ou that!

Whats even more irritating is the stupid wars in the middle east. I think that is the single most divisive issue in our country....
Americans are tired of this administration focusing on the middle east....
I think the economy is chugging along fine, at least it is for myself, my friends and family. Inflation is in check, stock market is stable and going up....Most people have purchased homes with the lower rates....
Life is good, except for the hornets nest in the middle east, which will come home to roost once again...

NO IT"S NOT WHY? There are people here who are dieing i the streets people with mental illnesses and everyone ignores it,there are the elderly with a range of medical problems being"cared" for by family members who abuse and neglect them in name of money.I could name a 1000 more if you care but you continue to contact your congressmen about the "illegal issue" and they'll continue to ignore these problems as well as the "illegal" problem.

No it is not.
In Italy we have the same problem, same is in France, and Spain.
Nowadays even the super tolerant Holland is facing the immigration problem.
