My advice, pay attention in English this year. The way you type makes you look illiterate.

Become involved in a club or school organization. I never really felt like an outsider because I always had a good core of friends. Everybody wants to feel like they belong in high school. And just be yourself. Don't worry so much about what everybody else is doing. There are far too many copies in this world and far too few originals. I remember feeling scared too but it helped that I already was friends with an older sisters friends so it helped me transition. Good Luck!

RELAX! Don't waste any time trying to impress people. Confidence is the best thing you can show them. Just be yourself!
There's nothing hard about it. It's not going to eat you alive or anything. The only reason it's scary at all is because it's a change and you don't know what to expect.
When I went from middle school to high school, not much of anything changed, except for little things. Nothing to be scared of.

Relax, be yourself, don't try to hard. Talk with some of your friends the day before and come up with a plan to kinda meet up and walk to class together. Make sure you go to the school before it opens to really get your schedule down. To avoid looking like a freshman try not to constantly have your schedule out going down the hall. Have it in your mind already. Good Luck I remember my first day as a freshman, and it is tough being the new kid.

There are 3 big do's and 3 big do not's:
do's: 1. be yourself
2. do your homework
3. make NICE friends
do not's :
1. wear too much makeup. more than 3 items is TOO MUCH
2. lose your virginity...
3. do drugs/ alcohol. it'll really put you with the wrong people. The real people you'll remember won't be one's that are all drugged up all of the time. Plus by the time you're an upper classman, people will respect you more for being you. So be yourself!

Don't worry high school is awesome! You meet new friends and guys, and you have so many classes to chose from. Honestly don't worry, find someone you know and stick with them for a while, that's what I did! Just be confident not conceded but confident. Be independent and Good Luck!

dont be worried high school is just like middle school except with more work. im a sophmore this year and trust me last year i was totally worried about what to expect. it is totally easy to make friends in the 9th grade. If you take honors classes, youll notice they are much harder than the honors classes in middle school and you get more work, but as long as you study and not slack off, youll be fine. Just remember, hang out with the right people and your high school years will be totally unforgetable!!!!!

Alot of crazy stuff happens in high school, but there is no
reason to believe that you are ill equipped. Just be prepared
for things to seem really really important one day and trivial
the next.
Study. Make friends. Eat pizza.
Grow old like the rest of us.
Nothing to worry about!

its really not that bad, im going to be a sophmore so i know what you feel like. just keep your cool and dont let any other students bother you. if you need help with something, ask. and to make friends, join as many clubs as possible. definitely dont be shy, meet people, introduce yourself. and as soon as you can, find someone that has your lunch period so you can have someone to sit with.
