Just a poll to find out how other people are...

I'm not of any religion based on the following sequence of logic:

Various religions have existed throughout time including Greek, Egyptian, Norse, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and so on.

Religions die when the believers die. At that time, they become mythology--hence "Greek mythology," but not "Chrsitian mythology."

Since religions can die, they are finite.

God is infinite.

The infinite can not be founded upon by the finite.

Therefore: God is not a part of any single particular religion.

If anything, I am probably more of a seeker looking for a truth that resonates with what's inside me. I've found some answers in the philosophy of Albert Camus. I highly recommend his book, *The Plague.* It is not pleasant, but it shows the heroism of fighting an invulnerable enemy for a noble cause. Camus once said, "I'm am not so idealistic that I wish to save the human race, but I will serve it." As do I as a teacher, fighting pop culture for my students' attention for the noble cause of helping them open their minds and question the world around them.

If that is too deep or cheesy, there is one other philsophy I aspire to, which is a line from a classic Coen brothers film: "The Dude abides."

I have no other problem with other religions except for those whose dogma or doctrines lock their followers into a position of willful ignorance--the worst sin possible because it denies God's greatest gift: a skeptical and curious mind.

I am a strange mix of Wiccan and Gnostic Christian (yes, i do believe Jesus existed as an enlightened but mortal man) I have looked at plenty of religions upon my searching for what feels right to me, and I don't have any major problems with other religions. Some just aren't the path I wish to take.

Non denominational Christian
and no, I don't have a problem with other religions.

I do have a problem with individuals
who make attempts
to jam their religion down my throat.

I believe in God the father.
I believe in Christ the Son.
I believe in the holy spirit.
We are all pieces of the puzzle
and should stand as one.

I also have a problem with some puzzle pieces who waste their energy on hate.
This is the same thing as forcing an opinion on someone, it stirs the hate pot.
It's not good.

Positive energy.
Peace, joy, and love.

I am a Catholic.

The only problem I HAVE with other religions is when they say bad things about Catholics. Should ANY decent God-fearing person have a problem with good people of any religion who follow the Commandments and live their life as God has asked them to...NO...they shouldn't but they do.

I don't really like religion - it knows nothing about God. To make matters worse, religion blocks the way of those trying to get to God.

I am a christian. Yes, I do have major problems with all religions - including Christianity.

I believe in God, and I believe that God loves me as I love Him. Therefore I don't need an actual religion or a church affiliation. God is bigger than religion anyway. The only religions I have a problem with are those who think they are better than the others, and are intolerant of the others.

No problem with other religions, but am appalled by the misery caused by some of Jesus' followers over the past 2000 years!

Christian, and no. My hubby and brother in law don't believe in Christianity. My hubby believes in a God but not really Jesus or anything like that. My sister in law knows there's a God but thinks that he's just a "mean old man" so to speak and my brother in law is more religious in Science. But if you try to convert someone to that religion knowing they don't want it then yes, I have a problem with it.
