Pet Peeve usually means something that annoys you or that you can't stand or like. This is something that you don't like or annoys you over everything else.
My Pet Peeve for instance is when my roommates don't see fit to take the full bin out. They just start another bag. That is the one thing that annoys me most in my life and world.

A pet peeve is something someone finds annoying. Usually unique to the person.

that pisses you off.......
you could just choke the living ---- life!
out of someone.....
It's ignorance for me.!!!!
some of the people here (at this site) are that way
as well as through out this vast world
take it all with a grain of salt and move on....
the truth is a pet peeve.........a lot of us can not handle that!

Something that really bugs you, like toothpaste in the sink, or people who don't hold doors or who don't say thank you to you when you do.
