Possibly the same as bullying someone else.
Could never understand what makes low-lifes do that...
Unless there is a reason they gave, that makes one want to make them feel the same thing they are dishing out.

Sometimes the insult is funny and if you have a sense of humor you will get it. However, sometimes the insulter is just an *** and gains the feeling of being superior. This personality type is known as the intimidator. You can defend against it with the phrase, I know you are but what am I,or the equally strategic Im rubber your glue.....

One usually insults someone because they have a self esteem issue. If they insult someone then they think they are better than that person or try to make it seem that way. Sometimes, however, they insult someone because they feel they have been insulted or put down and are defensive. Either way, I don't believe it is a religion or spirituality issue. I think it is more of a self esteem or self perception issue.

Anyone is gaining themself a ticket to sadness, when they insult another person.

Because once this habit is in you it spreads as a virus and pops up to insult your boss, wife, child, parents, friends.

This will defenitely end up as a loss of respect, job, joy, trust.

Hence he gains more and more tickets of sadness. But once the tickets get lost.He will be a normal person again.

the person who is doing the insulting only does it to make their selves feel better about who they are. One has to not be pleased with them selves to do this and wants others to feel worse than they do. They truly believe that by making others look or feel bad then they will look and feel better. In reality that person looks worse to others for not treating every one as humans should be treated, that is with respect.

a person who insullts another tries to gain power form insulting the person. there maybe something that the person is sad or ashamed about, therefore he/she needs to berate another to boast his or her self esteem. in almost every case, the person who's picking on another suffers from lonlieness, self-esteem issues, or some form of abuse. i normally feel sorry for the person picking on a person because in reality, their the real losers!

well they think they gain something....power and it just plain makes them feel better about themselves but you're right it does take more away from the person who is insulting others than it does from those whom they are insulting....
