How old are you? But never lie to your parents about a relationship. It only makes things stressful, and in the long run , it will get old. So tell your parents. But if your parents dont like the fact of you having a boyfriend, then explain to them. And if they still disagree, you will have to be a sneak with it!!!!!!!!!!LOL

I suggest you tell your parents.
Though you may not agree with their opinion on the matter, it is one to consider.
Besides, sneaking around is not good for a healthy relationship.
You want to be proud of your love, do you not?
The first step in the right direction would be to tell your parents.
If they are hesitant, explain to them your thoughts and feelings on the matter as calmly and openly as possible.
This is an adult matter, so you need to behave like one, remember.
If you are prohibited from going out with him, tell the guy you would just like to be friends.
That is the most rational and respectable choice, and neither of you lose anything.
If anything, your friendship will grow stronger and stronger.
I hope my advice helped and I apologize if it didn't.
Take care!

Something tells me your not telling all of us the whole story. . .If you are allowed to date then yea tell them. If not then tell him no. You shouldn't sneak around with this guy. . .parents always find out. What is it about this guy that they don't like? Good Luck

well, what do you want to do? if you wanna be his girl, then say yes. don't see why your parents should be an issue unless they're against you having a bf. when the time is right, you'll eventually tell your parents you've upgraded to the next leve :)

You should tell your parents that the two of you would like to be bf/gf and see how they handle things. If they like the guy everything should go smoothly

I would tell my parents. I don't really see this as a problem. If they objected to you being bothered with him they would say so trust me. Tell him you will be his girl if that is what you want. Good luck.

Keep it a secret, if you can. My last two ex-boyfriends were non-existant to my parents.
