I offer the devil my soul. ( He didn't want me!?! )
My golden retriever offered his soul but all he got were some dog bisquits and a cocker spaniel in heat.Oh, and did I mention a red rubber Kong ball?
All the pretty colored pills the doctor gives me makes him stop speaking through my cat! Celexa, Effexor, Cogentin, Lithium, Prozac,Thorazine (Ah yes, an oldie but goodie!)

OD is right on. The devil tempts us every day to try to make us turn from God, so in our state of weakness he can steal our soul. The devil is the author of lies and should never be trusted. He will try to tell you that if you obey him, that the outcome will be much better than if you would listen to God. But if we believe him we are in big trouble; because even if he gives you pleasure in this life, he has got you for an eternity of suffering in the next. Whatever we do that goes against God's Commandments is weakening us to lose our souls.

No, I completely ignore him when any negative, dishonest, vengeful thoughts come to mind. He cannot get a foothold if we shut him out.
