Hey heinrich him whats up with that racist remark. If you dont have anything better to say dont say anything @ all. Where Im from Puerto Rico cockfights are very well known. When I was growing up I use to help my dad train roosters for fights. We won trophys and money.

Oklahoma (one of the last the states where it is still legal) voted state-wide to end it; but, our leaders circumvented the law and it's still going on. I hate it. Some whined about the economic loss. My questions were: 1-The betting was illegal. How does that affect the economy? and 2-How many bird breeders who make their livings doing that exist?
I DO know, however, that it's profitable to the bird owners. I know one guy who brought home $25.000 after a 2-day weekend.

That is abuse , you do realize this don't you ?? If you watch animal planet they have the animal police shows on there, they have also shown where someones rooster that was hurt in a fight (but still alive) was just tossed into the trash !! Just a horrible practice !! Anyone who treats animals cruelly should be jailed!
