You have taken the first step by acknowledging that you have a problem. First figure out how you leaned that anger. From your family? If so, think about the triggers and how the anger was expressed and vow to change.
Get some counseling There are classes on anger managment.
If you get rid of a behavior or a habit you need to replace it with another activity. Thus, when you are angry. find some way to channel it For instance if you are mad at your kids......go for a fast walk or a swim or hit a punching bag. Also revalulate what angers you. Most likely you get angry about things that you really don't need to get angry about. Ask your self.....is this thing worth me spending my energy on. For example if you are constantly angry at other drivers. Who gets the brunt of that anger....you do and who ever is with you. Let it roll off your back. Those drivers who irritte you don't usually see your anger and it they do ..so what?? how does it change anything. And WHY is it so important to you to be so angry? Your brain is programed a certian......you have self talk tepes in your head that reinforce and perputate your anger. Write down on small pieces of paper things that you can read and you can retrain your brain of how to think and what to expect of yourself. Something like this........."I am a person who doesn't need to be so angry about everything., I will let things roll off my back, becasue my anger doesn't change a thing. My anger sacare other people and I am now a nice guy"
Take care .Let go and let God

To control anger is a hard thing to accomplish, I control my anger by thinking about something that makes me calm, if I feel like I'm about to explode on someone, I take five deep breathes and step away from them, until I am calm enough to face them. Find the cause of your anger and focus it on something more productive, like exercise, so that way it doesn't build up.

there are many many ways to "blow off steam" physical excersize of any kinds will tire you out and make you feel better~~creative projects will take your mind off of things as well~~ofcourse, the best way is to find the root of the problem, where the anger starts or originates~~ and release it at the source~~if your not sure exactly what is causing the anger then find out~~counseling is good for this~~or even just "talking to friends sometimes helps"
try prayer or meditation~~~goodluck

Anger comes from lack of acceptance. Unfortunately, if you accept the world's suckiness to the point that it doeant make you angry any more, you might get depressed.
