If this is canker, or even if it isnt, your dog sounds quite ill and in a hell of a lot of pain; get her to a vet; there are NO home remedies for this, and she desperately needs help now- dont just wait to see what happens. Good Luck.

Canker is an ear infection, it causes a dark brown waxy build up. It is painful and irritates, so the dog can become bad tempered or yelp when his ears are touched. There may not be much of a smell so don't go by that.
The dog may shake its head a lot, and scratch at its ears.
It won't clear up on its own, there is nothing you can do for it except get ear drops from the vet.

I think the dog will shake it's head and scratch it's ears. I also think there may be a nasty smell from the ears. I'm sure a visit to the vet will cure it. Maybe drops, or if there is an infection antibiotics. Please tell her to go it can't be very comfortable for the animal. Private vets are expensive, if this is a problem they can go to the P.D.S.A. and make a small contribution.

As far as I know this only happens in the ears. It looks like a brownish waxy substance in the ear and it is itchy. My dog used to use one of his nails to scratch it until it bled and then shook his head until the blood splattered up the walls and over the ceiling. Best see a vet and get drops as it is easilly treated.

Looking in your underpants will not help, unless thats where you keep this poor dog.

Try a Vet like the rest of us......
