Christians think of how they can help people, atheists have to think about how they are going to defend their religion.
I used to be atheist and I can't believe how blinded I was! I'm Christian and I have studied a lot of different religions and I can not understand why people see that it is so bad to believe in something that can actually make you a better person? Is it such a bad thing to have morals? So screwing your best friends man and stabbing people in the back is the right things to be doing?Being an atheist just enables that type of lifestyle, being atheist was just an excuse for me to be "different" and do what I wanted without answering to anyone. Then I decided it was time to change my life for the better.I don't understand why people say Christan's do not research other religions, because I do.I want someone to prove to me that Christianity is not the way to believe and no one has proved anything to me ONLY that I am believing the way I should!!!

I honestly think that the ability to believe in a higher power, whatever that may mean, is decided by your genes. Thus, people who don't believe in god were never supposed to, and people who do have a genetic mutation. There has already been supporting evidence for this, but the gene has yet to be located. I think that also, if this is proven, it will discredit all religions that demand you to have faith in a god, as faith will no longer be something anyone can control or change.

First I want to say that I am neither a believer in the One God Almighty nor and Atheist. I believe in Netjer and the many Names. That being said I think that although both Christians and Atheists do think, Atheists think harder. I think both do study but Atheists study harder. They not only reference the bible but many other books. To truly not believe they would have to study not only the bible but many other religion books. They would have to know a lot in order to truly not believe. Most Christians don't study other religions. They are usually born into it, not always mind you, and have grown up just knowing that religion. They study the bible, some of them do anyways. Some will look at other religions but not many go that extra step. Therefore, I think that Atheists not only study harder but think harder too.

This was not a question, but a chance to state your unfounded opinion of others. If you would like to know more about what Christians truly think, and why they think that way, I suggest you read. Preferably something that is from an unbiased source such as Lee Stroble's "Case for Faith" or "Case for Christ." If you think you are ready for a good read, try "Mere Christianity" by CS Lewis.
Be careful to not fall into the same idea that you are protesting by describing all theists as people who have taken a blind leap.

Their perspectives on Earth and the universe. Atheists work toward thinking outside the box, without the fear of god punishing them for distrusting him. God believers are merely limited by what their supposed god teaches them and what a false book tells them what to believe.

If I did not believe in God I would find no meaning in life. Right & wrong, good or evil would make no difference. There would be no reason to cling to life if we are just matter.
If there were no God why do we have a conscious?

We know we are nothing without Jesus. We acknowledge the Higher power- the Creator of the universe.
Our thoughts as well as our actions are guided by our faith, by our beliefs.
Not sure what your thinking pattern is.

Atheists like myself have this deliciously evil anti authoritarian streak that makes us always ask why. Then why to that why. We are leaders!
Theists have a innocent streak that they will question statements to a much lesser degree. They are followers.
We are the kids that always played in the mud.
They are the kids that never got dirty.

"God" believers tend to be impressed by authority and discipline, and are eager to be conformists. Some atheists / agnostics may have a rebellious temperament, but I think most of them are just well educated thinkers.
