I would stand by his side until i got the facts i mean who knows maybe it was self defense and just cause he might have made a mistake i mean if you really love him then stand by his side i mean i got a friend right now that is doing that and her man openly admitts that he did it but he does have a lot of remorse for it.

I do not suggest continuing this relationship further so long as this business is in progress.
You most definitely don't want to be involved.
And if he is convicted of murder, you and everyone who cares about you will be relieved that you got out of a potentially dangerous situation.
If he is proven innocent, and you believe in your heart that that was the correct verdict, then explain to him your feelings on the matter.
Hopefully he will understand your precautionary steps and the two of you can move on.
Maybe not, but either way you need to look out for your best interests, and I strongly feel that those interests would not be with this man.
I hope my advice helped and that everything works out, if not for him, at least you.
Take care!

dang, that's a hard question....
that's a real tough question...
well, you know what they say, innocent until proven guilty. He's in court? If they don't know he did it YET, than I say it couldn't hurt to stay with him until that Guilty verdict. Then you could leave his ***... kinda trifilin', but hey, he gon be in jail anyways...
Then again, if you believe in your heart that he is innocent, or you deep down feel that dude is guilty as hell, how devoted you are to him and stuff will call for your own personal judgement call on if you should stay after he's already been sent to jail.
Since y'all have been dating off aaaand oon and off and on for 2 years, it don't seem like nothing too serious that you would wanna put yourself through that kind of trauma so, if he goes to jail, tell him you love 'im but you gotta go on and live the rest of your life.
If he is a considerate man, he will understand your feelings. And if he is not, girl go ahead on anyway do your thang.

If I would really love him and believe in him I would stand by his side. He hasn't been convicted yet so he might as well be innocent. If he did kill someone I think it depends on his motive if it would been out of cold blood and for no reason at all I think it might be very difficult for me to stand by his side but if it were out of self defense it would be a whole different story. I think it all depends how much you love him if you really love him and know his warm and positive sides I think you can stay at his side and support him as much as you can. I f you have doubts about how you feel you may reconsider and just move on with your life without him. It's a matter of what lives in your heart and how much you honestly care for him and if your heart tells you to keep being there for him and love and support him I can only tell you to do so and feel good about it and never to feel any shame about it. People sometimes do very stupid things in their life but that doesn't necessarily mean that we have to give up on them.
Good luck.

Is the evidence damning or circumstantial? If it's not circumstantial, you should know that you don't need this kind of drama. If it is circumstantial, give it a more thought, then go on in another direction with your life. Do you want to be second guessing or afraid for the rest of your life. The next time it could be you.

Unless you know he has a solid alibi (and it doesn't look like you do), I would probably disbelieve him. Talk to him about it, but take his words with a pinch of salt. If he says he was somewhere else, and you know other people can back him up, then of course, believe him and support him all the way.
But I'm afraid this situation looks decidedly sinister...

You should be cautious. Maybe you didn't know this guy that well. And if you are POSITIVE he is innocent stay by his side but if he is sent to jail you don't need to be waiting on him, you will need to move on.
