Get her a vintage Gibson Les Paul. That's what I want for my birthday.

The best present you can give your mother at any age for any occasion is your time and love. Maybe take her out to dinner once a month for the next year. It doesn't have to be a fancy place. Or maybe you could take her to Sunday brunch once a month for the next year. It's the time you spend with her that is important not the amount of money you spend

Well, that's really sweet of you. Try getting her a sweater since winter is coming up. You could also try to see if she is needs something in her house. Does she particularly like a brand? Does she collect anything? If you can't think of anything, just take her out to dinner. Happy Birthday to you mom. Good luck in finding something special for her.

Maybe make her a photo album with pictures of you two together and a little note where and when they were taken and how you felt that day. Its not expensive and comes from the heart. Happy birthday Mom.

I think having a sweet and caring son like you is a gift enough...
and I'm sure since you are so sweet she would love to spend the day with you.
How about taking her to brunch and then sending her to a full day of beauty- manicure, pedicure, massage and facial...and then picking her up and taking her to a show and dinner.

A spa certificate - for a facial, or manicure, or massage. Every mom deserves to be pampered - especially a mom that has been through so much!

If she likes flowers you could send her a beautiful arrangement. It's always nice to get a surprise like that. She will be able to enjoy it for days and days and be reminded of your love.

How about lunch together and spend the day with her. Take her to a movie, or something else she likes to do.
If there is something you know she wants or needs, take her shopping. You're Mom would love it!
