I am going to make multi-bean salad for my son and me. I have heard italian salad dressing is a good marinade. I have also heard vinegar and oil. Does anyone have suggestions for the multi-bean marinade? Thanks in advance.

Mix together in large bowl

*Combine and heat on top of stove:

1 1/2-cups regular sugar

Pour over beans, and let set 8 hours in refrigerator. Stir every so often. Better if they sit over night.

Any italian vinegar and oil based dressing will do fine! I use that mix stuff you get where I add my own olive oil and red wine vinegar. It is called something "seasons" I believe.
