The way that the research is carried out is very sceptical. Due to the longevity of the research and them wanting quick answers they use animals subjected to the same conditions on a prorata basis. They didn't state that of the percentage of kids that could contract Leukaemia living near the "power field" 25% could contract it even if they didn't!
Remember the group of kids that used them selves as human guniea pigs just recently and nearly died "Elephant Man Syndrome" the drug was tested on animals first without any of the adverse effects that the humans were subjected to. This may be due to the amount of drugs they were given but it shows that researchers do get things wrong. Its then upto the likes of others to prove them wrong.
Mobile phones are supposed to fry your brains, I have yet to hear or see any one fall down in the street from it and the damned things have been out for over 10years now surely the signs would be showing by now...if they existed.
All i'm saying is be careful but don't read too much into this "Power Field" scenario. Remeber that everything electrical gives off a magnetic power field...Just think about what you use at home.
I have worked in power stations for nearly 28years and apart from growing a third leg i'm fine!... just kidding.
Be concerened but remember the media hype things up a bit...it's good for their business.

Due to the effect of the inverse square law, the radiation you receive from your phone when it's against your ear is greater than that which you are receiving from the mast. Also, when you're closer to the mast your phone sends a weaker signal because it knows you're nearer the receiver. So you're better off being close to it. There have been several studies into electromagnetic sensitivity and they show that peoples' symptoms react to the belief that they are near sources rather than actually being near them. That's not to say you don't feel ill. it just means the mast is not the cause.

I would leave. I've followed this theory for a while and there are two schools of thought on it. If you compare living extremely close to living say 30 miles away then both theories differ so much. Are you willing to take that chance? Who told you that you would have to live there for a year? Do they live in your house too? Why was it compulsory? If I told you to cross the road without looking would you do that? I'msure you know what you want to do so go for it...if you're wrong then it was for the best intentions and I dont think you'll be laughed at!

There have only ever been one or two studies which showed a link between pylons and cancer. These studies have been discredited and numerous larger and more detailed studies have not found any link to leukemia or other forms of cancer.

no u are not wrong, and i would NOT live there. its very unhealthy if u keep living there, because ur kids might end up with some sort of disease as they grow up, its very dangerous. and if i were u and my husband didnt want to move, i'd move on my own... i'd rather have my husband mad at me then risk my childrens lives...
Hope that helped and good luck ♥

you have not been clear about who 'he' is? who wont let you move..
but you're a caring mother who is obviously worried about this for your children and their future.
you're not in the wrong. you're doing what most mother do.
you should do whatever you feel is right and whats best for your kids. they are your future.
