Sqwirl - only to the point where it is against the law. Otherwise we have no leverage. I think we should use our leverage to make people who have been indoctrinated by the older Mexican text books that assure students we have ripped off the southern states read and copy the treaty.
Many won't agree.
However, the insane notion that they still own those states isn't just a position, it has been found in polls to literally be the majority opinion in Mexico. This troubles me, when coupled to immigration.

one question........one far out statement
First off..........who "harbors" illegals. Does that mean.........rent to them, employ them, allow them to shop in your store.........give them a safe place to be a human?
Second..........are you suggesting that BOTH should be required to do this? Are you suggesting that BECAUSE.....YOUR stance is different than MINE.....I should be forced to face the same PUNISHMENT?
Third.........my requirements were more along the line OF.........."limited aid, only emergency care, etc........". But I can add in recite a few lines of Shakespeare if that will make everyone feel OK........it makes as much sense as your required reading.

that treaty was signed by the all mighty coward santa anna.... The Mexican people and the Mexican Gov't didn't thoroughly discuss the treaty.. That's what really pisses some Mexicans off..

they should be deported immediately and take their place in line. We have an oversupply of farm workers. the reason is all of the unemployed illegals that I see standing around near my home. If they are not working then they are staying because they are getting free everything at our expense. Multiculturalism sucks.
