A dictionary does not define a word or gives the meaning; its tells how the word is used in daily life. Never knew that, eh? People have got the wrong idea of the use of a dictionary. It is not an absolute standard. Like the word gay originally meant happy, now it means homosexual!

No. First of all, Resurrectionist has already explained that that definition no longer applies. If you had read it closely enough you would already have known that. Secondly, do you really believe that all atheists are wicked? Warren Buffet, an atheist, is giving 31 BILLION dollars to charity! What a wicked guy he must be!

You worship a god that murders innocent children yet you call me wicked?

A dictionary gives common definitions of a word...since a lot of theists view atheists as being wicked, then that definition is in the dictionary. Definition 2 is the definition of atheist intellectuals and atheists use.

The definition of wicked is "evil by nature'....no, I'm not wicked...I just believe in one less god than you do.

Nikki,
Yes. It's a faith-based decision that they are saying 'no' to God. They decide 'to set against' ( saw nay ; basic Hebrew verb meaning to hate) God.

They have to make up that God is not there. It's lazy, presumptuous, and unscientific. All the things that Atheists complain about Christians. All because they want to believe themselves independent from God, scientific about things that are even unproven ( think of that!) , and born experts on religion.

All hypocritical and in denial, because they claim proof against something that they don't know about. In denial because they deny that it's by faith that they believe what they have chosen to believe in.

An atheist says, "I don't believe in God and anyone who does is stupid".

A Christian says, "I believe in God and anyone who doesn't is evil".

Luckily, not all atheists or Christians are quite shallow enough to believe those statements.

Well, that's archaic, so I'd say no. 100 years ago I would have been ;-)
