slightly longer version:
We believe that everyone has an eternal soul. When someone does good, they help bring their souls closer to G-d (which is what heaven, in our religion, is -- closeness to G-d). When one does something bad, they distance themselves.
When someone dies, they are sent through a cleansing process ("hell") after which they go to heaven.
We don't believe that we need some special key or pass to get into heaven. We believe that people are not inherently evil and everyone has the chance to get into heaven.

Judaism clearly believes that every decent human being, Jew or otherwise, has a "portion in the world to come". For more details, see the link below. Yes, we can forfeit this "plot" especially by leading others in sin, though by default, we're good human beings.
