Follow the Atkins diet (extreme phase) for 2 weeks. Unless you are 100% sure you won't cheat--don't bother. But if you think you can follow it for 2 weeks without cheating you will lose at least 9 pounds if you have that much fat available to lose. And you may be able to lose as many as 15. The Atkins is a great diet if you follow the plan strictly and move to the maintenance diet set forth in the book on the schedule outlined. The problem with the diet is that IF YOU CHEAT ONE LITTLE TIME --YOU BLEW IT. You MUST have the book to do this diet right. You also must understand what you are reading. For example:" you can eat as much as you need of allowed foods." Does that mean as long as you only eat allowed foods you can eat as much as you want? No, there is a difference in how much you WANT and how much you NEED. The reason this diet is considered to be such a huge health risk is that it really does work, so people tend to extend the initial phase because they are losing so well. The extreme phase is not safe to continue beyond the recommended 2 weeks. BE CAREFUL! and good luck.

I don't think you can get to 110 if you have good muscles. And you surely can't lose 30 pounds in less than a month, even if you don't care if it's healthy or not. :) I know what you mean. I want to do that, too, but it's not going to happen. More than a 2 pound loss per week is unhealthy. If you try to starve yourself, you'll end up binging. You might as well put yourself on a good exercise program with healthy eating and stay on the plan until you reach a weight that is good for you. Probably 125 pounds. When you get to your goal, you'll be happy. If you don't have a reasonable goal, you'll end up several months from now at the same weight you are...or even more and you'll still be unhappy. Be smart! It pays off.

i once went from 129 lbs to 94 lbs in a span of 3 weeks. I must admit it was not by choice. I have an autoimmune disorder called pemphigus.. sounds fake i know, but none the less it is very real. I was unable to eat and drink as it was too painful to eat or drink. Not the best way .. i have a healthy appreciation of the fine art of eating. It will not be easy to loose that amount of weight in that time period. The only way possible i think would be by surgical removal and or liposuction. and that is not always the best way. By eating smaller and more frequent meals you help speed up the metabolism and if you skip meals, the body tends to hoard all of that for fear of the next meal never coming. Good luck.

I know a bit how you feel. I am 5'4 and 150 lbs.
I know I have had a kid, and my fiance loves me the way I am, but what these other people don't realize is that its not about how other people see us, it's how we feel about ourselves.
I was 204 lbs in january, but I went to GNC and bought this supplement called lipo 6. I got more energy, and my moods improved. But now I am stuck, and the rest of the weight won't come off.
Check your eyes and ankles. If they swell up after eating alot of salt you might have a problem with edema.
ask your doctor for lasix, ( its a diuretic, or water pill)
Yes, it'll make you pee alot, but you can lose up to 10 lbs overnight. They can be a life saver when the jeans get a bit tight. Plus, it helps your bones and muscles look more defined. But you have to drink water with them or you'll get so dehydrated you might pass out.
Also, sour or spicy foods speed up weight loss, burning more fat.

5'5 and 110 is underweight, by the way.
If you want to lose 30 in that period of time, you ought to be willing to gain more than 30 back afterwards. Losing fast means gaining fast. And starving yourself is no healthy mean of losing weight. Plus it's stupid, so if you want to end up looking like a fat, asinine, low imbecile, go for it!
If you want people to respect you and not accuse you of being stupid, do it the slow, healthy, stable way--exercise and sensible dieting (that means no starvation diets). Did you know that your body will hold onto fat quicker if you starve yourself? People end up gaining more than they lose this way.
If you're going to be persistent with your dumb means of starvation, go for it, and be mocked. And end up miserable and hated.
Want to stay healthy and look great? Be patient and stick to sensible dieting and exercise. Health is more important than how thin you are. Unless you're suffering from an eating disorder or you're just plan stupid.

Top weight loss tips
Today there is too much information available on losing weight that has become more confusing and sometimes difficult to follow. It’s actually very easy to lose weight if you follow my weight loss tips.
* Be in right frame of mind
Before you can start any diet program you need to be in the right frame of mind. If you do not feel good about yourself you probably will not want to choose healthy foods. You cannot expect the act of going on a diet to make you feel better about yourself. The only way you can choose to eat a healthy diet to lose weight is if you have a positive self-image.
* Eat whole food
Top weight loss tips
Eat whole foods that are as natural as possible. When you eat whole foods that are full of nutrients your body will know how much to eat and how much not to eat. You do not have to count calories because your body is a wonderful machine.
* Eat fresh fruit
Eat at least two servings of fresh fruit every day. Choose whatever type of fruit is in season.
* Drink enough water
Drink the best weight loss supplement known to man, water. Most people do not know the difference from being hungry for food or thirsty for water. A great deal of times people eat when they should drink. Most likely you will not feel as hungry if you are getting enough water. You will be satisfying the thirst, which is confused for hunger. Water also helps you digest food better. Drinking water before you eat will help fill you up.
* Always chew your food
Always chew your food well. Chewing your food well will ensure that you get the most nutrients out of your food. Getting the most nutrients will satisfy your body therefore you will eat less. Another benefit of chewing well is that it helps aid in digestion.
* Take small meals
Eat small, frequent meals in a day. Large meals tax your digestion system, making it work harder. Taking too much time in between meals makes you hungrier for the next meal.
* Include protein at meal
Include good sources of protein at meal, chicken, fish, legumes, peanut, cottage cheese, eggs or yogurt.
* Shut off TV while eating
Shut off the TV whenever you eat – that includes meals and snacks. Studies show that we automatically eat larger portions when we snack in front of the tube, and typically those foods are high in fat and sugar, which means excess calories!
* Increase your physical activity
Increase your physical activity. Most people are over weight because of a lack of physical activity. Start walking more, bicycling, walks your dog for longer periods of time, swim, dance and leave the car at home when you can. It’s important that you choose a physical activity that you enjoy because you’ll stick with it.
