If you are using it to express those feelings you have when you are with her - then forget about it. Those are just chemicals. The real meaning behind the word "Love" is the committment behind it, the promise of action, attention, support, and affection. If you intend to commit to this person - then go for it. Chances are, your actions have already said it for you.

Five months is too soon. You still trying to get to know each other. Take a closer look at your partner and picture her with you forever. If you feel you can spend the rest of your life with this person and she feels the same way too, then tell her you love her. You simply ask her how she feels about you, then you will know exactly where you stand.

Really i don't think it's ever a bad time to tell a person how you really feel. As long as you really feel that way. See life is to short and you never know when the people that you love will be gone. So i say show them and tell them how much you love them as often as you can.One day your here and the next day your gone. Also never hold a grudge against the people you love resolve disagreement as timely as you can

I think most woman want the man to say it first. I also know how you feel about scaring her off but I don't think you should wait to long either. You know by your heart and gut feeling if the time is right,go with your own feelings. Don't be surprised if she tells you right after you tell her that she loves you also, Good Luck!!!

You could just tell her how much you care about her and how you feel when you see her. How you would feel if you guys were not together. Give her time to respond to this. How she responds will let you know if it is a good time to drop the L bomb (as you call it).

Hi. I answered a similar question to this today...
The best time to say it (from a woman's point of view) is during or after intimacy. That's when all your emotions are at the surface and it will be the most natural.

If she is like myself and following what I've taught my daughters ... the girl should never say it first... then she's probably eager to hear it. Generally men are scared off by the "L" bomb. Women are usually very pleased to hear it. You should never hesitate to tell the one you love that you love her/him. I've not known any who have regretted saying it but, I've known many who have regretted NOT saying it. Good luck to you and God bless.

You can only answer that.. you tell her when you feel its right. If she never said it & you want to tell her then jus ask here how she feels & if she love you cause you love her.. but do it when you feel its right. It shoudl be done in person though... maybe while cuddling in bed or sumthn.. longs it jus you two & no distractions around

5 months is definitely enough to fall in love with your gf/bf. i'm sure your gf feels the same way about you and maybe she's scared also. if you do love her, you should tell her. she'll probably say it back....one of you has to do it first.
