i got it at walmart for $4 and its yellow

They are relatively accurate - just make sure you hear it clicking every time you take a step and it is fairly accurate.

I have not found cheap pedometers to be accurate. And some of the more expensive ones work for awhile and conk. There will be some other suggestions for good ones...but no, on the $4 Walmart.
