No offence to anyone, but I've noticed a pattern here.
When I go to Walmart, I'm almost ran over by someone on the riding carts. These people sometimes have no manners at all.
The majority of them are overly obese. I know these are for the disabled, but seems that I see less and less thin people driving these.

Any clue?

Well, though I'm sure the obese people have all sorts of problems due to their obesity... but I used to work in a grocery store and it really used to piss me off when people that were just really fat (small town, I've seen these people walking around fine in places that don't offer them) used them up on the weekends and the little old ladies and men who could barely hold themselves up didn't have any left to use. It was one of my major pet peeves working there.

Obesity can be very disabling. When people are very overweight, it can be hard to walk, and often when they do walk, it becomes very difficult to breathe.
Also, many disabilities can lead to obesity if they make it hard to get exercise, such as disabilities that would cause you to need a motorized cart because walking is hard for you.
It's a cycle, and while you may be able to tell that a person is obese, you can't necessarily tell whether they are disabled.

Walmart drives me crazy from one end to another. The employees are always screaming on the intercoms. One time two women got into a fight because this one lazy lady with a basket FULL of stuff CUT everyone in front of the '15 items or less' line.

Extreme obesity is seen as a disability. Don't be so quick to assume that an individual does not have a disability simply because he does not appear to have one. That is a slippery slope and should be avoided....

for many, obesity IS a disability, it causes many problems with walking, or can cause the person to not be able to walk very far at all- shortness of breath, feeling worn out, takes too much energy. Or, many disabilities can indirectly or directly be a cause FOR obesity. such as diabetes.

Some seem to think obesity is a disability. I think it's laziness.

Most people who are disabled to a wheel chair are obese because obviously they can't move much.
Most people who are obese and ride in wheel chairs have diabetes. Diabetes doesn't let them walk.

A lot of people who are confined to wheelchairs become obese because they don't get exercise.

It would be more difficult to be active if you have a physical disability.
