I don't know why my question came out the way it did-what I asked is Does anyone know about Zostrix/Capsaison-would it be safe to put on gum tissue?

Yes. Capsaicin, also known as Zostrix, is used as topical to help relieve a certain type of pain known as neuralgia. It has been used to treat pain inside the mouth. Theoretically, Capsaicin could be useful in treating oral neuralgias but there is no supporting medical literature at this time.
If the trigger point is inside the mouth, a plastic dental splint is used to apply the capsaicin cream. If you are using capsaicin for the treatment of neuralgia caused by herpes zoster, do not apply the medicine until the zoster sores have healed.
However, if capsaicin cause a burning sensationI or if your condition gets worse, stop using this medicine and check with your doctor.

If the gums of the child is sensitive this could lead to swelling and inflammation. Don't follow such bad practices that you don't know what effects it can do the gums. Teething is normally a part of the child's growing up and all you need to do it to closely clean the gums and provide the baby with the proper vitamin supplements. You can even give the baby teethers to strengthen the gum formation.

I got diagnosed with genital herpes (type 2) about 3 yrs ago, when I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand.
