Yes it does work, but it's more of a moisturizing treatment then anything else. If your hair is really damaged, it won't repair it. It will look better because the ends aren't so dry anymore. You'll have a great shine to it too. As for how long to leave it in? It all depends on how long your hair is. I have very long hair, so I leave it in for about an hour as I either watch TV, read a mag. or talk on the phone. It seems to go faster that way. If your hair is shoulder length or shorter? I would suggest 15 to 20 min. Make sure to give it a really good wash after. I would suggest doing this at night just before bed. I wouldn't dare do it before going out with the girls or even on a date.

yes mayo does work on the hair, it gives it sheen and luster and can be strengthening. one can ususally aply it straight from the jar to the hair and it doesn't matter, as long as it is mayo, because remember this is something that is aproved for eating. Shampoo, rinse, apply mayo, place under a plastic cap sit with this for at least half an hour, rinse out, apply another light moisturizing shampoo, rinse, then apply a conditioner, rinse, dry, and style as usual. It does work and actually gives good results when used properly. Good Luck, God bless.

I have tried it. I received tons of compliments. It will make your hair healthier and shinier. It smells gross, so make sure to follow with a scented shampoo, like Herbal Essences anything. But besides that, leave it in for about 5-15 minutes, depending on your hair's damage. Then rinse. You'll notice a difference.

purely use a deep conditioner with or with out warmth in accordance to the guidelines. i imagine that many years in the past at the same time as such issues as that weren't accessible women human beings used mayonnaise because it is what become accessible to them. we've issues made scientifically only for hair and for particular kinds of hair and assorted problems with hair very accessible to us now. they are in each and every food market and pharmacy. certain, the eggs in mayo have protien, yet vegetable oil isn't tremendous for all of us and it would not scent that tremendous both.
