Beat eggs with 1/4 cup water. Dip cube steaks in bread crumbs then egg mix and back into bread crumbs. Pan fry until brown and place in sheet pan. Spoon onion soup over cube steaks and add water. Cover pan with foil and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees

OR

Prepare hash browns as directed on package. Set aside. In a large skillet melt shortening. Cook cubed steaks over medium heat 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until brown. Take skillet from heat. Season steaks with salt, spread each steak with 2 teaspoons ketchup, then top each steak with 1/2 cup of cooked hash browns and 1 or 2 tablespoons shredded Cheddar cheese. Return skillet to heat. Cover and cook over low heat 2 or 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Make strogonoff...It's yummy. I eat mine over rice or couscous and it's delicious.

Cube steaks (make sure to clean them first-rinse them out)
Half a cup of water
1/2 onion chopped
3 garlic teeth chopped
1 cup of muschrooms (optional...but it tastes good if you add them).
1 cup of sour cream
2 teaspoons of tabasco sauce(any red pepper or chili will do)
Add seasoning to taste.

Stir fry all the ingredients...the sour cream goes last.
AFter all the ingredients have gone in, turn temperature to low heat and let it cook for about 8-10 minutes.

hummmm...delicious....

My hubby loves my stroganoff!

You can make a stew with red wine, portabello mushrooms, onions, carrots, can of tomatoes. Bring to boil and simmer for an hour and a half. I like to make mashed potatoes with it and serve it in a bowl. I put a scoop of mashed potatoes and then two scoops of the stew. Yum, Yum, Yum.

Put them in a baking dish, season them, put a can of cream of mushroom soup over them. Put a little bit of milk or water in the can and swish it around and pour over meat. Bake it in the oven at 350 for about 45 min.

It's not too healthy, but yummy. Fry them in a large frying pan with butter and onions - but slowly so the onions sautee.
