it was in perfect condition...when I looked at it a few weeks later the statue from the upper body up was leaning to the right...it is not made of anything that would melt....a sort of ceramic i think...i have pictures to the right of her of my son and daughter-in-law....if that means anything...the person that gave it to me has had many spiritual things happen to her..any ideas or feelings?

I wonder sometimes why statues are epected to be a symbol of religious ferver.. Is this not coming close to idol worship.. Particularly when most prayers of one religion, is toward that very image. Suggesting to me, the very religious person that gave it to you is getting her spiritual inspiration from a place, she would rather not be aware of whence they come.. The Bible warns of such things. In fact the idol created by the Israelites (Baal), caused them a considerable amount of reproach.

Anything's possible. I used to take care of an elderly nun. I walked into her room soon after I found out I was pregnant. I was helping her to her wheel chair and her hand brushed my abdomen (I was only about 6 weeks pregnant). She looked up at me and said "You're pregnant....it's a boy.....well at least one boy. Honest question I never understood it.Is she holy because she gave birth to Jesus? Did that transmit holiness?
