This is basically a starvation diet. If you body does not get enough fuel, it will go into starvation mode and you would be surprised how little weight you will lose. You body will defy you and hold onto every extra calorie.
Eat that you eat, but cut back portions and if needed, eat something every two hours. An apple has 75 calories. A young woman's body needs at least 1200 calories a day in a diet, and maybe 1500. Don't do it, it will never last and you could actually permanently damage your metabolism.

Your going to have to eat something more then that and more nutritious. That'll make you sort-of sick. In order to loose weight you have to exersice & diet. How about you eat like a really small salad...then the next two hours the apple...then exersice...then like a bannana or something...do you see what I mean? An apple a day ain't really going to do it...but instead of soda or something like that have straight water or skim milk. I say...that if you do something like this for a week you may loose 7-10lbs. There are many websites you can go to to find a good diet plan for you...but for a week...you can try really anything. Good luck on the weight loss! This is just my advice...what I think.

You won't lose any more than about 10 lbs and it will all come back, your diet sucks. The 10 lbs you will lose will be almost all water cos when you stop eating your body turns to its supply of glucose (stored sugar) which is dissolved in water, so as your body burns it's glucose you also lose the water its stored in. The diet won't work cos as soon as you start eating again and your glucose stores are replenished you'll gain the water weight back within a few days, trust me I watch the Discovery channel for a living... Need sensible diet that doesn't involve starving yourself and even more importantly you need to exercise.

all you'll get for htat is a trip to the hospital, honey. You'll lose a lot of weight for sure with that, especially since apples are high in fiber and more likely get diarrhea from all those apples. But once you start eating normally again, you'll gain it all right back. You aren't losing fat, you're losing things like muscle when you do drastic diets like that. Eat a balanced diet, honey, loads of veggies of all kinds (you can eat most veggies--carrots, green peppers, celery, etc--until you explode, save maybe really starchy veggies like potatoes), fruits, lean protein like baked or broiled boneless, skinless chicken breasts, lean pork--boneless and skinless--fish--baked not fried--even fat free milk products like yogurt and cheese, also beans are great protein. Stay away from nuts. They're good for you but high in fat. Workout a half hour to an hour cardio every day (walking, biking, ect) and drink water like it's going out of style (8+ glasses a day).
Please don't starve yourself. Nothing is worth your health over.

What a goofy way to try to lose weight! How about just keep eating whatever you eat, but just go for a run each day for 30-45 minutes? I mean, isn't that alot easier than eating one apple a day? Won't starving yourself make you feel like sh*t ? Really, the apple a day thing sounds just plain stupid.

that's not a diet, it's an eating disorder. (and I think you knew this already, but I'll humor you.) if you want to lose weight, do your body a favor: eat a healthy, balanced diet and exercise daily.
Want quick results? try running. however, as an active woman, you MUST take in at least 1500 calories per day. low calorie dieting slows your metabolism, making it harder to lose weight.

no this is not good for you. u need nutrients, protein, carbs sugars, everything! fruit is a good way to curb ur snacking, but not just one apple and that's it. try to limit ur portions, and u can eat whatever u want! and exercise..... really important to be healthy cuz when u lose weight by starving urself, later when u start eating again ur body can't take it. also u will not have a healthy body if u dont' eat normal foods.

you may loose a lot but why you need to suffer. you could not life without eating meats ,carbohydrates ,vegetables and fruits which is needed to your mucles and skin and daily activity. you may lose wieght quikly but you will feel week. all nutritions ask you to eat 3 meals and 2 snaks with a quality food "health & balanced food" i tried i and i never qwent back to my bad eating habbits and may be that would be better for you.

eat a cheeseburger for gods sake....eating that few of calories will lead to serious problems down the road...(just a little note)don't diet unless your unhappy with yourself not because of what other people think..
