Why are people saying holocaust is fake?

99% of historians believe that between 5-7 million jews were killed in the holocaust. Historians are the experts shouldnt they know? also there were confessions from the highest ranking generals in the nazi party that admitted that jews were killed in gas chambers and firing squads. there have been confessions from victims who said there friends were killed infront of them there was authentic video evidence there was autehntic photographic evidence there was also confessions from victims of concentration camps who werent jewish such as the hungarians. how can people say it never happened? 6 million of my jews died and you dismiss it like it never happened. especially in the islamic world where they say that jews made all this up to make people feel sorry for them how can it be fake when every evidence foundso far points to it actualy hapning. it didnt happen during the roman times wher we might have to guess what really happened this only hapened 50 year ago!! you guys are inconsidrate

They deny the holocaust for the same reason they deny the existence of God, the accuracy of the Bible, the attacks from 9/11, and many other things. All you have to do is look around, and there are conspiracy theorists everywhere. Pick a topic, including the holocaust, and you will see people like POKI POKI who either deny or diminish the truth.

This only shows the extent that people will go to sway public oppinion and how powerful propaganda is. I am a Christian and growing up I had some very good jewish friends, a few of them whose parents had lived through the holocaust. I've heard the stories of concentration camp survivors first hand and I KNOW it is true. Unfortunately today I see a rebirth of antisemitism in this country that is sickening. I believe this is the result of a concerted effort on the part of some to rewrite history and thereby influence foreign policy. Who is behind this revisionism? Look at the facts. The very people out to destroy Israel today went right along with Hitlers extermination of jews in WWII. The former president Assad of Syria fought on the side of Germany during the war and claimed Adolph Hitler as his mentor. This was true of Sadat of Egypt and many other post war arab leaders. These people make full use of the propaganda mechanisms available to them and a left wing press only too happy to spread their lies. For those knowing history, communists have never been friends of jews either. Ask any jew who was in a camp "liberated" by Russians during the war how their treatment was. Today now several generations after the war you have people who have never had the opportunity to hear the truth. They are being bombarded with lies, false history, and conspiracy theories so elaborate that only the most insightful can see through them. The same mischaracterizations Hitler made about the jews in the 1930's are being made today, and every day right in this forum you can see them expressed. Despite wrongs committed in the past in the name of Christianity, I believe that one of the few sources for clear thinking today comes from the often criticized Christian fundamentalists churches. Though America is often called a Christian nation, the reality is that many who claim Christianity only give much thought to it on Christmas and Easter, and have relatively little knowledge of scripture. We are actually more of a pseudo-Christian country with an agnostic culture. In America it is still primarily a propaganda war but world wide it is coming down to a battle between radical left-wing socialists and Islamic fascists on one side, against jews and Christian fundamentalists on the other. The very existence of Israel hangs in the balance. As bleak as the circumstances may seem, I am firmly convinced that Israel will be victorious. Before this is settled I believe that likely Israel AND the United States will both have to stop attempting to conduct politically correct warfare and do what needs to be done.

and then talk to the people.

No country wants to brag about such events being part of its history. I wonder what would make Germany and Poland, among others, to set up museums, and preserve relics, the camps and relics if they are fakes? Why would they want that ugliness as part of their countries history, just to perpetuate such a lie?

It happened! And sadly, it continues to happen to day, in other lands, by those that are no less or better than Hitler.

The Holocaust is not fake it was real! The Holocaust is also documented by no others, but the Nazis themselves. They were bragging of what they were doing. they didn't hide it. and that how we have so much real time documentary film about it.
The people who say that are not educated. Instead of learning about it from historians they listen to the rhetoric and propaganda of Fundamentalist Islam and other Holocaust deniers. If they believe this source better then actual learned and researched historians that says a lot about them doesn't it. Its sad!

It definitely happened, there is no doubt about that, but there is a theory that Zionist Jews set up the European Jews because they felt they were holding them back from achieving their goals. I am not yet sure of how true this is but that is the only thing I have ever heard along those lines. It did in fact happen and it was a tragedy.

Hell, you can deny anything if you want to. There are many people who insist that they are not alive, that this is all an illusion, etc.

The saddist kind of denial is when someone is doing something harmful to him/herself and yet denies it, like a drug addict.

I happened to see the crematoriums in Germany, I know what I saw and all the denial in the world cannot change that.

They who don't believe should listen to the old man who when asked if he believed in the hereafter said," I'd rather believe and find out there isn't a hereafter than not believe and find out that there is."

As a Jew myself, and looking into this matter, I have seen researching this for years. I have seen "actual" photos that were so poorly changed (obviously before "photoshop') that it was laughable. Also the very Encyclopedia Judaica (in any large library or Synagog) listed Jewish population before the war at a little over 14 million worldwide and after the war it was listed as a little over 15 million. Unless we breed like cockroaches, I'd suspect a lot of us (like my grandparents) migrated to Russia. Why would the Germans go through tattooing, logging, housing,feeding,clothing,etc. just to exteminate them. And why the elaborate "gas chamber?" Why not a 5 cent bullet to the head. All the lampshade stories, the soap stories have long been disproven. Even at the Holocaust memorial in Israel the plaque has been changed down from 6 million (in the 50s) to 4 million and NOW reads "over a million Jews were killed..." When you have "witnesses like Eli Wiesal say things like "I could tell which country the Jew was from being gassed by the color of the smoke from the chimney..." makes real "eyewitnesses" very suspect! You see a picture of a ditch with a lot of people and the statement "Germans slaughter Jews...etc." When the Red Cross admits THEY took that picture and said it was a typhus epidemic affecting Germans AND Jews (65,000). They told them if they didn't bury them and put lime on them to speed decomposition, the whole camp would be infected. We did the same thing in Vietnam when there was a "wave" attack and hundreds of N. Vietnamese were killed. We dug a big pit, put them in it and put lime to help speed decoposition to stop the spread of desease. Thank G-d there weren't reporters to say WE slaughtered the poor attackers! The allies overflew the camps less than 4 months of liberation and took numerous photos and NEVER saw any evidence of the things these so-called witnesses saw. I have relitives who were there,too. They even said the German allowed a Jewish couple to marry and celebrate their marraige! But, I'm sure that's a big lie too. For so many Jews lost, there sure are a lot of their kids around to chime for money! Like MY reletives said, "There's no business like Shoa business!" They are so ashamed of the money-making business the Holocause has turned into. Yes it was bad, but 1 in 24 died under the Germans where 1 in 4 died under the Japanese (My uncle was in the Bataan Death March). Do you see them crying to the Japs for money? Get your facts right or get a real job, because I smell money somewhere in your family!

I don't understand it either. Although their numbers are dwindling there are still survivors of the holocaust out there. These are the same nuts who swear the government was behind the 9/11 attack. It's just crazy.

I think they say so because Jews forgot what they suffered and they are doing the same now. They always bring up the holocaust for making feel guilty to the international community and we feel sorry for them and now they are doing the same thing...
I am not saying it was not an awful thing or something bad, I am just telling they use it for their convenience and forget what they lived.
