What is the difference between "que" in these cases...

¡Qué hermosa!: How beautiful
¿Qué es esto?: What is this?
¡Qué foto más sexy!: What a sexy photo!

When you use "Qué" as the beginning of a question, it means What. When you use it at the beginning of an exclamative sentence (The correct wrtiting would be ¡Qué hermosa!) it means "how" in a way that makes the adjective more powerful.

Que is also used in sentences like "Me dijo que me quería" (He told me that he loved me) where it means "that" and is used without the accent

If you use "Que" at the beginning of an exclamative sentence that has "mas" and then an adjective, then you translate it as "What a..." and then then the adjective and the noun

the word "que" in Spanish has a mainly 3 different meanings. The main one is What? when it is used at the start of a sentence.....it is also used as the word "that" in a comparative manner. 3 examples below....

Que hermosa! How beautiful!
Que es esto? What is this?
Yo quiero que tu vengas aqui. I want you to come here.

I hope this helps you

que hermosa! = how beautiful! (used for exclamations)
que es esto? = what is this? (used for questions)
quiero que me digas tu nombre. = I want (that) you tell me your name or I want you to tell me your name==> here, que joins two sentences.
go to www.yahoo.es and search "usos de que" you'll get plenty of results... I hope it helps!

there are 2 "que's" in spanish, one is qué (with an accent over the "e" wich means "what"
for example "qué quieres" (what do you want?)

and there is "que" (with no accent over the "e" which means "that", for example..
dime que.... = tell me that....
