Some people just get them young. I've had a few since my early twenties. I'm nearly 36 now and they're still few and far between, so don't worry about it!

A female friend of mine went grey when she was a teenager. Completely grey when she was 30, she just used to dye her hair.
It is caused by the colour pigment in your hair follicle no longer being produced.

cells in our hair follicles called melanocytes generate melanin the colour pigments that gives our hair its colour.When these melanocytes stop producing the pigments,hair loses its colour and appears transparent which eventually appears to us as grey.
As we grow old the pigment cells start producing less melanin and this is why grey hair is conventionally associated with old age. Some causes of grey hair include;
Heredity,medical condition-such as B12 . Which could come at age from teenage to 50.
Other factors such as depression,environment are also link with greying. At any rate grey hair is a natural phenomenon and men and women alike are effected.Just accept it as part of your growing up.And got to enjoy the rest of your life.

Here is some info I found on premature graying.

Premature graying (canities). This is the same process that occurs with aging in adults when hair pigment cells simply stop making pigment. Most people with this condition are otherwise healthy. Premature graying may also be associated with other conditions, such as vitiligo, alopecia areata, thyroid disorders and anemia, including vitamin B-12 deficiency. I can also be hereditary.

You can go grey at almost any age. One of my friends started in his teens.
It's when you find other grey hairs that you really need to get upset

It's AWFUL, eh! I'm 25 and have plucked 5 grey hairs from my head so far. I reckon it's because of stress. I was fine until I met my boyfriend!
