I think you should do what feels right and since you are asking this question. I would belive that it don't you don't feel too good about doing it on the first date. Yes there are alot of bad things that could but, alot of good things could happend also. You might meet this and totally fall in love with him. What you have to do is meet him with an open mind and don't think about the fact that you haven't had sex in a year. Only you can make the right decision.

How long have you know him online? Meet in public place and make sure you click. You can always adjourn to a private one

I don't think that he'll respect you if you do. If you sleep with a man on the first date , it's almost guaranteed it won't be a long term relationship.
