cats ! because cats are cute and fun! and they meow. i don't chose dogs because they act like dogs. lol

I suggest you have a cat because they are much more easier to take care of. Dogs have to use little mats to use the restroom. Cat's litter last. The mats for dogs you have to throw it away once they use it once.

I like both but cats are easier to take care of. Clean the litter box a few times a week and keep out food and water for them and that's about it.
