The engine inventory engine sizes available for that twelve months have been the engine you presently have (2.3L I4), 3.0L V6, and the 4.0L V6. i've got pushed distinctive autos with all 3 engine options, and that i could say even the two.3L had adequate skill applying around empty yet positioned a load on it or in it and forget approximately any skill. the three.0L V6 that selection into in my company artwork truck had 293,781 miles on it once I end and it substitute into nonetheless working super and not leaking any oil or applying oil. My grandfather's ninety 3 ranger 4x4 has the 4.0L V6 engine. Its have been given different skill and is different relaxing to force. concern is its no longer precisely comparatively cheap as you will possibly think of. It gets approximately 18-20MPG. and if the 4x4 is used decrease those numbers right down to approximately 12-15MPG. The 4.0L engine leaks oil everywhere (wide-unfold Ford).
