mine is that we should let down all the restrictions on getting in to america except for a very few such as no serial killers or major criminals, thus making it as easy as possible to become an american citizen
also i think we should patrol the border heavily to catch those who still try to sneak in, and put them in prison for a few years
some say this would make it too easy for terrorists to enter as a citizen, but if you ask me it already is
plus alquaida doesnt scare me, gangs, robberies, murder, and the drug trade do.
others compain that americans would lose their jobs to immigrants
this is unfortunately true, as they are usually willing to work very hard for low wages, but isnt that what made america great in the first place? immigration?
i mean come on when was the last time a native american who rose from humble beginnings to become the ceo of a major corporation?

i realize that many criminals would still pass through, but we could ask the mexican government about their criminal record could we not?
also i dont think america would become overpopulated. the population would certainly grow, but so would the economy, just as it did around 1900, when immigration was at its peak

I am an immigrant and i came here legally, thru a petition filed by my husband with the U.S. Immigration. We waited for years to be able to live here together. It was a big sacrifice for both of us especially so since we have a special child. I think it would not be fair to those who are still in their countries waiting for their visa to be processed because there are those who came here illegally and will get their immigrant papers easier by paying back taxes and showing proof of residency. Maybe they should make a better law for this. Securing the borders is good. But I hope they also consider those who are still in their countries waiting legally for their papers to be processed. This is just my views anyway.

the real problem with the illegals coming into the united states is that they are not coming here for innocent reasons they hate us and they are trying to crowd us out by the birth rate why else would they be having so many babies they can't afford to feed when they had their protest organizers came around with US flags and passed them out to the crowds to fly them for the cameras (and told them to put away the flags they had from the native lands) CNN stayed after the other news agencies left and continued filming them after the demonstration was over they threw all the US flags in the trash and were chanting go home europeans this is not your continent are these the people you would let into your country if we do not stop them while we can it will get ugly it's just a matter of time there is an abundance of information on this at
http://www.sofmag.com/news/index.html
at least 60% of the people south of our nation hate us and these are the people coming here we don't need to concern ourselves as much with terrorist as we do with this invasion
triublez562 is exactly what i'm talking about
there is no way i would go to a country even for a visit that i knew i was not welcome in much less to stay

My view is that if they want to work here they should go thru the process of becoming a citizen...or at least obtain work visas
And pay the same rates you would pay an american
That way the pay amounts could stay the same and it wouldn't have such a direct and drastic effect on our economy
You're not going to be able to tell major criminals and murderes apart from the rest of them though

It relies upon on your ideology on the problem. in case you want an amnesty for criminal unlawful extraterrestrial beings, forgiveness for unlawful alien gang contributors, massive will enhance in criminal immigration and all the linked issues which will convey then the authorities is doing issues your way. The dems are searching complicated at attempting to shove an amnesty below the rug on us - Obama is assembly about a accessible amnesty immediately i imagine. maximum dem leaders favor an amnesty. they do no longer opt to disclaim admitted gang contributors this amnesty. Many dem leaders are pushing massive will enhance in criminal immigration, will enhance in worker visas and will enhance in relations re-unification numbers. of route they must have fogotten that 14 million individuals are unemployed. they must have forgotten that we've shortages of ability, water, "good" land, medical institution area, college area, etc. in case you ought to particularly have a good destiny on your children and favor the guidelines repected then they have finished little or no. some repubs have pushed for e-verfy, preventing the anchor infant coverage (note this coverage isn't a courtroom examined application of the 14th change), reducing immigration numbers, etc. yet those have fallen on deaf ears because the dems administration all immediately. The dems favor extra political administration. They comprehend immigrants vote dem because dems supply them far extra taxpayer supported classes. so as that they have a lengthy variety plan to regulate politics in this usa with the aid of massive immigration. It concerns by no ability what's in this international places astounding pastimes nor what's in maximum individuals astounding pastimes.

The reason we limit poor immigrants is because poor people pay little in the way of taxes and don't begin to cover their own cost in education and health care services, etc. The huge amount of illegal immigration has already strained those services to the point where they are failing in our border states.
I don't think we should let in more people until every one of our own children has a good education and everyone of our sick have health care.
The companies make money off of cheap labor, but the rest of us would be paying for the 'benefits' of their work force not only with money, but with our children's own upward mobility through quality education.
I completely disagree with your position and think it would have terrible results. That is why the Senate Bill is so unpopular.

It is not that we don't want immigrants from mexico. we just want them to be come citizens legally. If my friends from Germany were to come to this country they would not even be able to get into this country with out the proper paper work. And could not get a job unless the applied for a work Visa. Why do the mexicans think they are different and dont have to abide by the rules that the rest of us have to.

No Amnesty-Strong borders if not we have to give up to much and we would hurt the citizens here and that is not right. Countries who take care of their own people first to very well.
And the Native American remark is why off base. Many have good jobs. Many are very educated---go read a book.

I see a flaw. Have you considered that if that happened, America will become overpopulated? And all the problems illegals are causing would be 10 times worse if that happened. I say we should either fine the illegals, or throw them in jail, then deport them. All business owners who hire illegals should be given a heavy fine for first offense, and after 2nd time, jail.

We need to make it easier for poor people to get into the coutnry legally. Once that happens, we wont have a problem. The poor people come and work hard. And to deter the ones that dont, we will allow only people that are legal to get any kind of welfare.
