I'm asian with really straight hair. Everytime I curl my hair, it gets straight in a couple of hours. I tried putting hairspray after I curled it, but it falls straight also. I know that I wouldn't be able curl my hair on rainy days or days with high humidity, but how do I keep my hair curly on regular days? I hate flat hair, so boring. Also I spend half and hour to an hour curling my hair, what a waste of time if it doesn't stay.

Try blow drying your hair with a big round brush (it will give you the volume you want) or just blow drying it upside down. As for curls, use products like hairspray or curl defining mousse that are aimed for curly hair. Also, use a good, ceramic curling iron (you can get them at a drug store). But if your looking for a permanent curl, you can always get a perm.

Use rollers, followed by hairspray while you sleep. I think straight hair is beautiful, though. If the hairspray doesn't do it, then get a holder like a gel, mousse, or wax. Try Bed Head or Got 2 B.

I have the same problem. What works for me is to spray hairspray on the hair strand and then curl it. When finished curling all of the hair, put more hair spray on it.

you can try scrunching it with gel or mousse after you're done curling it
or if you want something way longer lasting you could always get a perm
