Yes I think it it.Because when your kissing someone you are looking into theyre eyes, and thinking of them, and wanting them. When your having sex with someone your just in a feel good moment.

I think the that it depends the way you are kissing the person whether or not it determines how intimate it is. If you kiss your grandmother not so intimate. Uh , Yuck if it was.....But If it's some one you really are in love with it can be the most intimate thing. There is a difference between just having sex and making love. Just having sex is getting straight to the point and getting your freak on.. Making love w/someone there are so many emotions involved . The feeling can move mountains. To me very intimate. I do so often miss being in love...So I think it all depends on the situation. Hey, I didn't know Dr. Phil answered ?'s on yahoo.....

I believe a prostitute may have more emotional attachment to a kiss than the actual sex act. When having sex on the job, they tend to remove themselves from the intimacy of their "work" which is pretty much a mere mechanical activity for them.

Very much so!Actually if my girl told me that he f***ed a stranger without kissing him, I wouldn't mind much, but if she told me they had an intimate kissing, then I would run mad!ha ha ha!Anyway kissing is a sign of affection and leads to a better sexual affair. Can u just jump and start those to and fro movements in sex without a passionate kissing? I wonder what that would be, a rugbby match!!

We're not all prostitutes and maybe they say that because their profession is intercourse and kissing would mean something different to them. Kissing is showing a bond between two people. Everyone has to leave something to the imagination.

Kissing is more intimate than sex. But making love is more intimate than kissing.

I think that kissing can be more intimate than sex. Isn't it kissing that gets you to the sex part more times than not?
I love the way my husband kisses, it's sincere, and sensuous, and you are within that other persons body in a different way. You can taste their sweetness on your tongue and in your mouth.
There's more to a kiss than just the thrusting movement of sex.

No, you kiss your parents, friends etc. kissing is really nothing, when you have sex you are giving yourself to someone and that i smuch more intimate. But like i say to my friends you never kiss a Ho. so it really depends on the person.
