I think the question speaks for itself, I don't really have a price range...but I would prefer a hair straightener that was easy for beginners. thanks for the tips.

I never used straighteners in my life until 8 weeks ago. I didn't know if I could use them (especially after 2 weeks fighting with a pathetic pair by Babylis) and I didn't want to shell out more than £80 for something I might never use much. I paid £60 in a hairdressers supply store for a pair called CHS red hot 230C and they are brilliant! Hot, fast and great results every time.

I don't know what shops sell them in England (I'm in Northern Ireland) but the company address on the box is
CHS Professional Salon Tools
c/o FuDa International
unit 17, West Chirton Industrial Estate
Middle Engine Lane
Tyne and Wear
NE29 8SE

Hope this helps

I have used various different types of straighteners and i have found that GHD ones are the best by far. they are expensive but worth every penny. Usually around£90. You cant get them in the shops but most good hair salons sell them as they are proffessional straightners!

Use the Ceramic type as the heat is dissapated in an even way and stored longer in the tongs. Type in ceramic hair tong into e-bay and see what comes up. I got one for £50 boxed and new as an unwanted present!

Good luck

Not you again and your bloody hair.....thought you were going to blow dry it?
Morphy Richards Ceramic Straightners. I paid £70, I think, in boots.
But girls don't like men who spend longer doing their hair than they do, be warned.
Thought it was you asking the other day about straightening your hair....sorry, mistaken identity.
