I believe from your question that you where a part of the first one. If so just relax and decline in the most pleasant way ever member she is a friend. and she must think you are special to want to include you in both weddings. as for having a second wedding wow some people don't get to have one but hey she is making it a point of two good luck to her and her future husband maybe he's the actual one for ever. but hey go have fun and enjoy the party!!!

You should be able to opt-out if you want to, you shouldn't be required to be a part of the wedding, you can go if you support the union but being a part of a wedding that was done before is an expense you probably don't need, and more hastle than it is worth, and make sure that your feelings are known. Having a big or even semi big remarrige is a bit strange, they should have a small gathering, where the only ones who have to buy anything or spend any money are the bride and groom, you already did your part.

I argee and I think it's super tacky!! It's like having a baby shower for every single kid that you have! You only get one. The second wedding should be simple and low key. I think it's completely disgusting that people have huge wedding and think that people should be in their weddings again!! I also think it's super tacky that re-married people regestered! I am sorry, If I sound horrible but I was in the same situation and I refused to be in a girl's wedding because of it. I wore an ugly dress once, throw you a shower once and bought you a damn wedding gift once- I refuse to do it again. I personally like to tell people I only do odd numbers- I'll be in your 3rd one :)

I can't blame you for not wanting to be in the second wedding but do remember that your friend must think a lot of you to want you be an attendant in both ceremonies. I would just politely decline, citing some other reason as to why you can't.
