I have a dog at home and he does that after he eats.

Yes, most dogs it after they eat..the amount of time afterwards, depends on the dog's age and size..

our pups 6 years down to 8 months don't eat an diddle in the yard right away. we also self feed so they snack here and there and have a good mean in the AM of PM depending on who it is.
A couple will doodle in the AM while everyone before bed does their doodles for the night

no. my dog goes 1 and 2 in the morning and when i get home from work. he has to pee at various times in the evening.

Does he have water with his food. If it's just plain food, I don't know why he'd urniate, but if you leave water out for him, then eating may have stimulated his bladder.
