he supposedly never started a family of his own and didn't give any examples of treating his own family as more important than his 'friends'?

To Cindy: I haven't read a lot about his family so I don't know if a 'commoner' had the same access as his relatives, I do know the disciples had special access (funny, there were twelve-the same # of follwers as other deitis in other religion's had)
btw, 'Cindy' means 'bringer of light' and Lucifer' means 'light bringer'-I just happen to know that b/c my name is also Cindy and I like the name Lucifer
also, congradulations! so far, you're the only person to attempt answering this!

I have never heard of Jesus as being a "family man"

Jesus Christ is our Savior and the only way to get to heaven to be with our creator (god).

He didnt treat his family any different than his friends on purpose. Jesus was not now and never was wanting to play favorites, for all are welcomed into the kingdom of God through Jesus Christ the son.

If I were alive during Jesus time here on earth, I would have had the same access as his mother and sister to him. He would have accepted my heart the same as the guy next to me.

In todays time, you have as much access to God through Jesus that I have. God will hear both of us at the same time and never miss a beat because he is awesome like that, no favorites once you accept and believe.
