It was due to the monarchy rules that applied several years ago in England, so It was required the permission of the king to have sex, even if he/she was you wife/husband. So when recently married couples were on their weeding nigth and wanted to have sex (off cousrse) they had to write on their door the following text "Fornication under the consent of the king" so they wouldn't be pursued. when the time passed and due to the small doors they used the first letters only. **** so the most popular word in the whole word was born.

I was told it came from the expression: For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge - a term used by policement for prostitution. Don't really believe it though.
