i got fingernails that appear to be lifting off the nail bed near the top, started on one nail now 3 others going same way, am i missing something in my diet or is it an infection, doctor said its nothing ! i think its soemthing.

Sounds like you have a fungal infection, but check with your GP as it could be indicative of a mineral/calcium disorder. With treatment, your nails WILL grow back healthy and strong, but it might take a while, so be patient.

Definately some kind of fungal infection.

Go back to your doctor and ask him/her about a nail lacquer called 'loceryl'.

In order for it to be effective you will nedd to use the nail files provided to file as much of the top layer of nail off as possible then apply the lacquer.

It works and your problem sounds like an identical problem i had not so long ago.

my wife who is a nail technician says you have an infection
it could be serious and you could lose your nails, go back to the doctor and ask for a fungicidal cream
by the nails lifting germs can get in cause many problems

no it fine some ppl nails are just like that if u have brittle nails or white spots on them thats a sign ur missin summit but them just curlin up means nothing
