The sun was god because it gave us life- why/when do you think man stopped believing in this?

man stopped believing this when a famous book called the bible was written, half fables and the other half lies written so long ago that no one in this era should even give it a second look, but they do, the truth is that we shouldnt worship anything, rather embrace everything, that is what ancients were doing, they had a god to represent all different aspects of life, they didnt devote all there energy to worshipping one "being", if you choose to call it that

Ya know I think that would fall into pagan religion but I agree in the bible it says god gives life god is life, and without the sun there would be no life. Crazy maybe people have it all wrong instead of hell being all fire maybe it's heaven that is on fire, but in a good way.

One think the Sun god Ra was a fake, just someone made it up believing that its a god and gave us life, people came to realize thats theres only one god, the creator, who created us and sacrificed his only son

No clue. If you worship the sun--well, at least we *know* the sun exists. And our lives do depend on it.
But you can pray to the sun until you are blue in the face and it won't bring auroras or stop solar flares from disrupting our radio communication :)

everyone hasn't stopped believeing in that.
maybe the climate got a little too hot in the near east for the sun to be popular. a climate change might explain it.
if the sun shines down too hard it brings death; not life.

I think originally man worshiped the creator of the sun and stars
and his view of God shrunk

When monotheism came along and converted or exterminated the other, less aggressive religions in europe. Started with the jews who refused to accept other gods, and the christians finished it off in the roman empire.
