Most routine HIV tests are a rapid test that is similar to a pregnancy test you take at home. You add blood and some chemicals and wait and a color develops. If the color development doesn't meet certain criterai, ie: too light or too dark, it is considered inconclusive, at which point it is tested using the "Western Blot" method, a more sensitive test you may have heard of.
Labs do not make alot of mistakes.....this is a misnomer that ton of DR.s use an an excuse when they mess up and order the wrong thing. There are more safety measures in place than ever before to prevent errors, although they do occur, most are caught and corrected within minutes.

Undetermined reults means you need another test, it dosent mean you are hiv, but they found something which they aren't quite sure what it is. My friend went through the same thing, she found out that she is aneamic.

You may have a cold or something that interfeared with the results. My husband's cousin got tested as part of a physical once while she had a bit of a cold, and laryngitis, and hers came back as positive. When they retested her several weeks later, it came back negative.
You might want to wait a week or so, and get retested.

it means they may have to do another test to get a good result maybe there were not enough red blood cells of something and they need to re-est.....It does take 6 months to 7 years to contract it and so maybe the individual in question is still in their transition phase....either case you should go get re-tested to make sure....

it means that you should stop giving your pu$$y away like if you dont itll fall off, it also means to stay away from everybody until it is determined. it also means that you are a nasty motha if you even have to go take the test, it also means that you should call all 450 people you slept with last week and tell them that you dont know what you have. how about that.

either the test got messed up- or one test was negative and one test was positive. its a pain in the neck.
