They do and that is further proof that when Muslims say "Allah," it merely means God in Arabic. Would you say God if you only spoke Arabic? No, you would say Allah. I even say a copy of an Arabic Bible and it says "Allah." Allah is not a different deity from God. It is just like saying Elohim. It is Hebrew for God. Allah is God in the Arabic language. Jews, Christians, and Muslims all worship the same One Almighty God.

The problem is that christians say that Allah became a man and was flogged by his creation. The God of Adam, Abraham, Moses, David, Muhammad did not become a man. jesus said worship God, unfortunately christians ignore this and worship jesus. a practice that did not start until a few centuries after jesus. once the religion was mixed with roman and greek methology where a god man is common.

ALLAH is THE Best Name of GOD, amongst the other great 99 Names, ALLAH is not the Arabic translation of "GOD", the Arab Christians say that 'coz they are more under the influence of the Muslims around them, so when they see Muslims referring to GOD as ALLAH, the young Christian kids and sometimes Christians adults too, catches the phrase ALLAH for GOD as they live in an environment surrounded by Muslims.
And yes, its true that Jews, Christians and Muslims all are suppose to worship the same GOD, but religions changed over-time, but Islam is as same as it was 1400 yrs ago.

Yes. Christians and Muslims do worship the same god. However, I can find no proof that Allah is Arabic. Allah was known long, long, before Islam. In early ancient times, Pagans had a creation God and named him Allah...then through the centuries, "ALLAH' became the name of God....Christians, Jews, Muslims Hindu and pagans all referred to God as Allah; but in reality, Allah was first referred to as ...not out God but the name of a Pagan God.
When Mohammad named 'Allah' as the one true God, he was choosing a popular name known by Arabs, Pagans and Christians.

I am an Arab christian and it is true it does mean God but that is because most of speak the same language because we came from the same relative area. The difference is that the Muslims believe in the Prophet Muhummad. We do not have the same beliefs as they do concerning Muhummad.

Oh, don't get all high-and-mighty BIBLEMAN talking about how muslims invaded lands. Christians did a much more efficient of invading than the muslims. That is the only reason why their are so many Christians, they invaded and made everyone convert or die. Plain and simple. And they never stopped killing non-believers even when they had the majority. So don't act like your religion is even better. Muslim's acts are the same as the Christian's in my book.

While I do not have first-hand knowledge, friends I've had from the Middle East tell me the Christian communities there do indeed refer to God by the name "Allah".

By definition, Yes, Allah and God are the same. But its not that fact that seperates Muslims from Chrisitians, it is the diffrence in Christ and Muhammed.
