No.

On a side note, that sounds like a description of Satan.

Isn't it true that we do not have what you call "pure desires"? Sometimes getting everything my heart desires is not a good idea. If only to teach me a lesson, then thanks (and hope i didn't mess up big time). I'd rather follow a god who can guide me the best and provide the best opportunities upon my god's discretion. No harmful wish fulfillments...why that's suicide.

Words sweet as honey can be intoxicating and can lead me to have a puffed-up head, which i do not enjoy having. I'd rather a god tell me the truth that's sobering and keep me watchful of where I'm headed and what i am presently.

Absolute beauty, i marvel is the ultimate thing to behold... never have and feel at the moment only sunshine in the morning at a park is my ideal absolute beauty.. But i'm sure it is light.

Even though you are apparently describing a fantasy god, the God that already exists IS the last 3 phrases you used: he wants us to spend eternity with him, his words are as sweet as honey, and he is absolutely beautiful.
He doesn't give us everything our hearts desire no matter how harmful because then he wouldn't really love us, but would just want us to be happy or even blissful, and if "a god" didn't really love me, I wouldn't follow him no matter what he did for me.
Unless you're a Christian, you're on the right track towards understanding who God is except for that 1st phrase.

You seem to believe that God exists. He or she is simply an invention of man as a way of trying to explain difficult questions which could not be answered hundreds of years ago and creating jobs and power for clerics of all types. Most religions are based on fear of a terrible life after death if you don't conform. What rubbish! Religions fighting other religions have and continue to be the greatest source of death, destruction and misery in the world. Join me when I die and become a small heap of ash in a crematorium garden to become new atoms for the creation of beautiful new rose blooms!

Ifollow the One True God, Jesus Christ~
He does not give me everything my heart desires because just like every good parent knows....we don't give our children everything they ask for because we know it is not good for them! Especially if it is harmful! Now....there are some times that My God will allow things in my life that I don;t think are good for me but He has a plan and a purpose and I know He will use it for His glory and that it has it's purpose! I will follow Him....even when I don't understand it or like it. A Blind follower? no....he has shown Himself to be trustworthy in my life in the past. I KNOW I can trust Him. No Matter What!

Thats why I believe in God. Because I know that God knows whats best and he will only give us what he knows we can handle. and God is absolutely beautiful and wants me to spend eternity with him.

I would absolutely follow that God!

However, the concept of a God is a human one and is based in the mind not reality. Therefore, we unfortunately do not live in a faerie tale, we live in the real world where god is imagery.

No, absolutely not. My gods and goddesses expect me to do what I can for myself. They are to offer advice, and some assistance, but never do everything for us, or give us everything we desire. They expect us to stand on our OWN two feet. One should always question any god's words that are sweet and beautiful, because you might be lead astray.

I don't follow a God, I follow The God. And he doesn't give me everything i want, God promises me the gift of everlasting life in heaven, but it ain't free. Being a Christian is vary hard work. You should try it. It is hard but very rewarding.

My God gives that which is needed, not everything that is desired. He is the one true God.

Not on your life. I follow the true God that never lies and does not want me to have things that are harmful to me.
