Here in Michigan, it's pop, Everywhere else I've been it's been called soda, except New York. At least I think it was NY. I asked for a Coke, they said what kind? I said Coke, they said what Kind? I said "I'll have a Coca-Cola" Oh, okay.

Where I'm originally from it's pop. In parts of New England it's called tonic. I now call it soda, or by it's proper name. I prefer Pepsi with no ice. I haven't had Pibb in many years. Where do they sell that?

Does anyone remember Jolt?

Coke. Everything is Coke in the south. It cracks me up when I hear people say 'pop.' It doesn't bother me, I just don't hear it much unless I am traveling a little further north!

how about refrescos? I believe that's spanish for what you're talking about, you also forgot to ask if anyone calls it a softdrink, which I don't I call it soda, when I get the chance to talk about it in english, but I live in Venezuela, and so I have to referr to it what they call it in spanish, for now... in about a year I'll be referring it to whatever they call it in Germany, I forgot what they say...??? It's been 3 years since I've been to Germany. I THINK they just call it Coca-cola (because they're calling it by the brand they sell and Pepsi isn't very popular there)
