if you just started talking to a female, and she wants to see if you are really into her.....is it a turn off if she tries to make you jealous by mentioning other guys?
for example-saying some dude hit up on her?

It is a turn off, but more than likely she wants to see if you have eyes only for her and how deep your feelings are for her (even early on in a relationship) , because most women look for a man that can be a protector aswell as a provider..... either that or she's triffling :)

Personally I don't care for it. It hurts. Women just need to say the truth. If you like a guy let him know. If you don't like him, tell him that. Tell him why also. I guy will go crazy guessing what the problem is. The woman should be truthful. When you are a guy and really like someone and the girl plays games with you it hurts. It really really hurts. I can take the honest truth better than not knowing what's up

If you've only just started talking to her, you shouldn't be feeling jealous, but it's usually a strong hint she has an interest in you, as for being a turn off...no, if you find out she is interested, you should take it as a compliment

Yes, it's a huge turn-off. Did you want a date with the person you're with, or the ones you keep talking about?
I guess it's about the same if a guy kept talking about other women who were interested in him.....not cool, right?

What's the point of attempting to make him jealous anyhow? I don't personally get jealous easily. And an attempt to make me feel that way wouldn't be attractive to me at all, instead I would think she's playing some kind of game.

Big turn off, it means she is so full of herself. Making someone jealous, especially someone, she doesn't even know, is playing head games, and that is a big turn off.

Yes its annoying, like what do we care if another guy likes you are not...Why not just ask him if he wants to hang out sometime...if he says yes theres a 50% chance that he likes you...

at first its not too bad because it shows that she likes you and wants to se if you share the same feelings, but after she finds out that you do like her is when that gets frustrating
