so far...in the last three four weeks...I've had about five dreams with me dying in the end...What does that mean?...and in those dreams..there is always a guy..(tall, dark, and handsome)..and this guy is always holding me in his arms when I die...the latest one I had was very simple compared to my other dreams..I was hugging the guy..when I get shot in the back..and blood splatters..and he's crying and holding me...but I have no clue who on earth this guy is...

Dream death is usually not related to actual death...perhaps something in your life is about to change (the end of something...quitting a job? moving?)

Think about what in your life might be coming to an end (or changing drastically)...that may be what it is...

Die

To dream that you die in your dream, symbolizes inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or in your life. Although such a dreams may bring about feelings of fear and anxiety, it is no cause for alarm and is often considered a positive symbol. Dreams of experiencing your own death usually means that big changes are ahead for you. You are moving on to new beginnings and leaving the past behind. These changes does not necessarily imply a negative turn of events. Metaphorically, dying can be seen as an end or a termination to your old ways and habits. So, dying does not always mean a physical death, but an ending of something.

On a negative note, to dream that you die may represent involvement in deeply painful relationships or unhealthy, destructive behaviors. You may feeling depressed or feel strangled by a situation or person in your waking life. Perhaps your mind is preoccupied with someone who is terminally ill or dying. Alternatively, you may be trying to get out of some obligation, responsibility or other situation.

To see someone dying in your dream, signifies that your feelings for that person are dead or that a significant change/loss is occurring in your relationship with that person. Alternatively, you may want to repress that aspect of yourself that is represented by the dying person.

Wow - that's an amazingly detailed dream to be repeating. Psychologists (who even look at dreams) think of the repeating dream as extremely important. The unconscious is trying to tell you something, and it's failing to get through to you - so it repeats. The unconscious speaks in symbols and emotions - in pictures and stories. So a fairy tale with a moral would be much like a dream (often times things even happen three times in a dream like in fairy tales - three pigs - three holes in your chest). Anyway, if you saw this on tv in a story, what would it mean? What's the moral? You obviously see something as dangerous - deadly actually. What might be more important is the girl who takes care of you - a mother symbol. Beyond that, I don't have a clue. One way of working with these is to write them down very carefully - every detail... and then spot the times the details change. The meaning is often times in these odd little details.

Dreams are not premonitions of the future, they are symbolic of what is happening in your life. Have you been thinking about something a lot lately, are you feeling stressed or anxious?
Death could be symbolic of a number of things, for example has a relationship recently come to an end? The death could be the ending of the relationship and the crying could be how sad you are feeling.

Maybe that is your subconscious telling you that a part of you is dying but there is someone who cares and wants you to live. That person will be there for even in the end. Maybe those deaths represent different areas of your life that needed to be eliminated in order to reach your true destiny. Maybe the guy that was holding you was an angel who is there to guide you to peace. Maybe that same guy was your guardian angel and his purpose is to let no weapon formed against you prosper.

Emo fan?

This is romantic death. Dieing in the arm of a man. You long for romance.

Usually I would say change is coming but this is more like a pubescent dream for something 'Romeo and Juliet' stuff.

own death = fear of commitment, responsibilities, lose confidence
this guy = conscience of support, desire

You probably in fear of commitment and you are afraid to take responsibilities and you may be losing confidence in life. Although you are a happy person in life, you often don't have much confidence. The guy in your dream is a projection of support you need or are seeking for in reality. You probably don't get it yet. That is why you vent it out in dream

Here is what standard psychology has to say: Either you are guilty, jealous, or scared of something. If none applies, it means that you are probably going to live a very long and happy life, like 100 years or something. Sweet Dreams :)

Superstition is that if you dream of yourself dying, it usually means someone you know is going to die. The guy means that someone will comfort you. The fact that you don't know who he is could be that there will be strangers at the funeral. Say a prayer and hope that your dream doesn't come true.
