Call Cats protection and the RSPCA. They ALWAYS have kittens. I'm sure one of them nearby will have a ginger kitten. However, female ginger cats are extremely, and I mean extremely, rare. It is a genetic colouring, and only in very rare cases do you get ginger females. You might have to consider either a male kitten (little difference in character when neutered, anyway) or a different colour. The opposite is true of tortoiseshells, which are almost always female.

This is a great question, My dream cat would be a Blue Calico, Maine Coon. or a shaded silver patch classic with white and pale blue green eyes, Maine Coon For a male I have my dream cat. A solid cream and white male. Then I would like a silver classic with white. I do have a white with gold eyes but would love to have another solid black female No I know several blue eyed whites and they hear just fine. My friend just had 2 white kittens one blue eyed and one gold both hear everything around them. My favorite breed is the Maine Coons. R P CAT

I hope you find one. I have a ginger female, and love her to death. Ginger females aren't exactly RARE, but orange cats are usally 80% male, 20% female, so they're rarer than lots of other colorings.

good luck. Most ginger cats are male. Try Petsfinder.com, and you can select the sex and color in your area and see if anyone has one for adoption

Try advertising in the local paper and maybe even offering a reward. Put some cards in local shop windows too. Hope you find her soon.
